About Me

I'm a scientist, developer and an entrepreneur born in Aleppo, Syria πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡Ύ, who emigrated to the United States at age 16.

My PhD work focused on the development of novel methodologies to study RNA structural rearrangements using mass spectrometry (MS). I engineered a temperature-controlled source for MS, developed a graphical user interface software for its control and accompanying data analysis scripts and approaches.

Vironix

My current work and focus lie in the field of digital therapeutics and Health IT. My goal is to combine clinical sciences, data sciences, data and technology to revolutionize health-care and directly deliver patients access to on-demand, intelligent and personalizable therapies.

I am the co-founder of Vironix Health and the co-inventor of CovidX, a remote monitoring application that leverages machine-learned algorithms to detect and differentiate health deterioration due to COVID-19 infections.

Data Science and Engineering

A significant portion of my time is spent writing code, leading engineering teams, managing products, and running ML experiments. I am highly familiar with what it takes to bring a product to the market. I'm comfortable with Machine Learning Frameworks - Sklearn, Numpy, Pandas, OOP languages - Python, Nodejs and Frontend Tools - Javascript, CSS, React.

Running and Mountains

I'm drawn to the outdoors, particularly to the mountains. My activities focus on honing skills that will assist me in climbing and descending mountains.

I enjoy long-distance running. Especially with elevation.
